A Space journey
A digital art-experience that takes you from the digital space in to your own space.
About
A Space Journey is a physical and imaginary experience aspiring to gradually create a meeting point of several spaces around and within us. It takes shape as a digital trail and invites you to use your immediate surroundings to embody, translate, move, and be moved by throughout the duration of the journey.
It is an intimate experience between you and the space you’ve chosen to go on the journey with, and for a brief moment to the world outside you both. However it is also a story of how places affect us, the process of letting go of a place dear to us and how these places can live on with us if we invite them to.
A Space Journey is the first work in Arkivet; an overarching project exploring alternative methods of documenting spaces through an embodying practice, negotiating awareness between our surroundings and our own bodies. Arkivet is a growing source of material generated from these methods, collected through the audiences’ participation. The archived material will be shared with each audience member after their journey.
